Terms and Conditions of Service

These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Citylink Chauffeurs website and chauffeur services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

For the purposes of these Terms, “Citylink Chauffeurs,” “Citylink,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Citylink Chauffeurs and its affiliates.


1. Bookings and Payments

All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability. Prices are displayed at the time of booking and may vary based on service type, location, duration, waiting time, tolls, parking, or additional services.

Full payment must be made in accordance with the rates confirmed at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods.

Additional charges may apply for extended waiting time, vehicle damage, excessive cleaning, tolls, or other incidentals.


2. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Refunds
Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing by sending an email to cancellation@citylinkchauffeurs.com.

  • Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking amount.
No-Shows

A no-show occurs when a passenger is not present at the scheduled pickup time and has not communicated with the driver or dispatcher. A no-show will be treated as a late cancellation and charged the full booking amount.


3. Waiting Time Policy

Free waiting time is 15 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Any additional waiting time will be billed at the scheduled hourly rate of the vehicle booked and charged in 30-minute increments.


4. Child Safety Seats

Child safety seats must be requested at the time of booking or in advance prior to the scheduled pickup date. Availability is not guaranteed without prior notice.


5. Passenger Conduct and Vehicle Care

The following are strictly prohibited in all vehicles:

  • Smoking
  • Possession or use of illegal substances
  • Abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior
  • Any actions causing damage to the vehicle

Cleaning or damage fees may apply where necessary.


6. Cleaning and Damage Fee Structure

Standard charges may include (but are not limited to):

  • Cleaning fee (food, debris, stains): $250 – $500.00
  • Smoking inside the vehicle: $300.00
  • Odour extraction: $300.00
  • Guest sickness cleaning: $500.00

All cleaning and damage-related costs, including any loss of use or downtime, will be invoiced and payable under the same 30-day payment terms.


7. Force Majeure and Service Delays

Citylink or its affiliates shall not be held responsible for any delay or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, accidents, road closures, mechanical issues, government actions, or other force majeure events.


8. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only and to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during the booking process. Citylink is not responsible for service delays or failures resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the user.


9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Citylink Chauffeurs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services.


10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the use of our website or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of California.


11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided by Citylink Chauffeurs shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The arbitration shall take place in California before a single arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Each party shall bear its own legal fees and costs unless otherwise required by law or awarded by the arbitrator. Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis only, and not as a class, collective, or representative action, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking temporary or injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.


12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Citylink Chauffeurs regarding the use of our website and services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings.

No waiver of any provision shall be deemed a waiver of any other provision, and any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Citylink Chauffeurs.
